The 1099-MISC and 1099-NEC Reporting for Calendar Year 2021 Memo explains the 1099?MISC and 1099-NEC verification and correction process and is now available on the GAO Website under Publications/All Agency Memoranda.

Please note that vendor file corrections and GAO-94 forms are due to the GAO as soon as possible but no later than 4:00 p.m. on January 7th, 2022.  This ensures timely delivery of the 1099-MISC and 1099-NEC files to the contracted vendor who will print and mail the 1099-MISC and 1099-NEC forms.  The GAO-94 form is interactive on the GAO Website under Online Forms.  Forms 1099-MISC and 1099-NEC for Calendar Year 2021 will be mailed to the recipients no later than January 31, 2022.
