Fiscal Year 2018 hard close, which was initially scheduled to take place on Friday, August 10, has been delayed until further notice.  In addition, the encumbrances and pre-encumbrances balance roll forward, which was initially scheduled to take place on Monday, August 6, has also been rescheduled until further notice.  The rescheduling of these events is necessary for the GAO to clean up outstanding balances in order to close the year successfully.
