The Fiscal Year-End 2013-2014 (FYE14) Memo and Closing Instructions are available on the GAO Website. The document also includes a Tentative AFIS Calendar for FYE15.

The GAO will be conducting a question and answer session regarding the fiscal year-end process. All agencies are strongly encouraged to have at least one accounting representative attend. The schedule for the session is as follows:

• Monday, April 28th, from 1:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m. in the Department of Administration, Conference Room 300.

PLEASE REMEMBER, YOUR STATE OF ARIZONA BADGE WILL BE NECESSARY TO GAIN ACCESS THROUGH SECURITY WHEN ENTERING THE DEPARTMENT OF ADMINISTRATION BUILDING.

Registration Information: Space is limited, so reserve your place early. To enroll, use the State’s YES/HRIS portal (https://yes.az.gov):

1. Sign in with your Username (your State Employee Identification Number) and your password.
2. Click on “Employee Training” under the “Home” tab in the leftmost column.
3. Then, click on “Registration by Category” under the “Employee Training” tab.
4. Next, click on “GAO Training & Events” in the “Categories” column.
5. Under “Courses,” click on course GAO042814 to register.
6. Finally, click on session number 428 to complete your registration.

Any changes to the above schedule will be communicated via the AFIS news screen.
