FY 2018 Legal Services Charges
General Appropriation Act general agency counsel charges pursuant to Laws 2017, 1st Regular Session, Chapter 305 (SB1522), Section 149, may be processed.
The Attorney General Office has initiated the ITI document and copied it to an ITA for each agency. Please locate the appropriate ITA document for your agency’s Attorney General legal services charges and complete the ITA using the appropriate fund sources. Section 6 of the FY 2017 Criminal Justice Budget Reconciliation Bill (Laws 2016, Chapter 119) eliminated the requirement that the report in ARS §41-191.09 receive Joint Legislative Budget Committee review but otherwise did not change the statutory guidelines regarding the charge so these transfers can be completed immediately. These transfers should be completed by September 15th.
