OMB revisions to the uniform guidance at 2 Code of Federal Regulations 200 are now effective

The revisions issued by the Office of Management and Budget’s (OMB) on August 13th to the uniform guidance at 2 C.F.R. 200 became effective November 12th. The revised guidance applies to new awards and modifications to existing awards issued on or after November 12th. Awards received prior to that date will continue to follow the uniform guidance provisions, as they previously existed throughout the life of the award. There are extensive changes to the guidance affecting all recipients and subrecipients of Federal awards. Grant recipients are highly encouraged to review and become familiar with the guidance. Note that the numbering system did change; internal policies and procedures referencing the guidance will need to be updated. The guidance can be found at ecfr.gov under Title 2 Part 200.

Changes to Title 2 C.F.R. 25 Universal Identifier and System for Award Management and 2 C.F.R. Part 170, Reporting Subaward and Executive Compensation Information and the new 2 C.F.R. Part 183 Never Contract with the Enemy are also now effective.
