Security operations involving the authorization of payroll handwrites and the approval of certain payroll transactions are being transferred from GAO Security to GAO Central payroll.  As part of this change, a new form, the GAO-3P, “Payroll Authorization Form,” is being introduced, which replaces the GAO-3 for payroll related activities.

Those functions involving the pickup of payroll warrants and related payroll documents will be covered by another process discussed in a separate article.
