Updates to RASL Forms posted on GAO website

RASL is transitioning to electronic completion and submission of RASL application.  The GAO-SL-50 has been updated with capability to sign the application electronically by creating and electronic signature.  There are instructions provided on how to create an electronic Adobe signature as well.

The application will require that the applicant enter their Adobe e-signature password for each space that requires the applicant to initial or sign.

Additionally, it will require the Agency RASL Coordinator to create an e-signature.

Once the applicant completes their section, they can email to their Agency RASL Coordinator.  To assist retirees that are trying to apply, please send the best name, email and phone number of your Agency RASL Coordinator to [email protected].

The Checklists have also been updated to allow the applicant and agency to electronically sign them as well.

Once the Agency RASL Coordinator receives the application and completes the bottom certification section, they can electronically sign and submit with the requisite paperwork (checklists and screen shots) via email to [email protected].

The move to electronic signature and submission via email is going to provide time savings in avoiding using the US Mail service.

An updated Deferral Form provided by Nationwide has also been posted.  As a reminder, the applicant should be directed to submit this form directly to the Nationwide email provided on the form.
