Mid-Year Review of 1099 Reportable Vendors Associated with Reportable Payments

The GAO is recommending agencies perform a mid-year review of 1099-MISC reportable payments issued out of AFIS from January 1, 2017 to now.  Agency staff with the XXX_INFO_1099AP role in AFIS (XXX equates to the department 3-digit alpha code) should have the capability to run the FIN-AZ-AP-N176i 1099 Master Report – GAO CY 2017 report in InfoAdvantage.  Each agency should be able to locate their FIN-AZ-AP-N176i 1099 Master Report – GAO CY 2017 report in InfoAdvantage under their XXX Reports folder, then a XXX 1099/AP Confidential Reports subfolder.

Previously, the 1099-MISC report, FIN-AZ-AP-N176i, was a static report, but it is now interactive and may be run at any time throughout the year.  When accessing the report, you may need to select the refresh button and then you’ll be prompted to enter your AFIS user ID.

As a reminder, the FIN-AZ-AP-N176i (N176i) report pertains to AFIS reportable payments issued during Calendar Year 2017.  Some agencies also have access to the FIN-AZ-AP-N176e (N176e), which pertains to reportable payments from the interfacing agencies.  Since we will not receive 1099-MISC interface data for Calendar Year 2017 until January 2018, there is no data to review in this report for the current calendar year.
