New Lodging and Meal Rates Effective October 1, 2018
On September 20, 2018, the Joint Legislative Budget Committee approved changes to State of Arizona reimbursement rates for lodging and meals & incidentals. These changes will go into effect on October 1, 2018.
To help travelers and agencies easily find the appropriate rates to use in making reservations and paying claims, both the old and new rates will remain posted in SAAM until approximately November 30.
SAAM 5095 containing the rates in effect through September 30 will temporarily be listed as “Travel Reimbursement Rates through September 30, 2018.”
SAAM 5095 containing the rates in effect as of October 1 will temporarily be listed as “Travel Expense Reimbursement Rates effective October 1, 2018.”
All those involved in any aspect of traveling should be careful to use the reimbursement rates then in effect.
New or updated Sections, if any, of the State of Arizona Accounting Manual (SAAM) listed below have been posted to /publications/saam.
Changes contained in updated SAAM sections can easily be identified using the instructions contained in SAAM 0007.
