NASACT Webinar: The Clock is Ticking: 2024 Yellow Book Implementation Update
In 2024, the U.S. Government Accountability Office (GAO) issued the final revisions to Government Auditing Standards, better known as the Yellow Book. The 2024 Yellow Book requires an audit organization to design and implement a system of quality management that incorporates a risk assessment process to identify, evaluate, and mitigate risks to audit quality.
Audit organizations have been hard at work designing their systems of quality management and preparing for the implementation date of December 15, 2025. Three subject matter experts representing the Georgia Department of Audits and Accounts, the Arkansas Legislative Auditor, and the New York State Comptroller’s Office will discuss their organizations’ progress on implementation as well as the key aspects of the 2024 Yellow Book that they are prioritizing as the deadline approaches. You don’t want to miss this!
