NASACT Webinar: Cost Recovery Essentials – Billed Services and Indirect Costs
NASACT is pleased to announce the latest in its series of training events addressing timely issues in government accounting, auditing, and financial management. With this webinar, take a deeper dive into statewide cost allocation plans.
Non-federal entities may recover costs incurred in administering federally financed programs utilizing different methodologies. Two common approaches are through billed central services and indirect cost rates. Because of the diverse characteristics and accounting practices of governmental units, these types of costs may not be common in all situations. However, the webinar will provide a general overview of how these costs are typically calculated and how non-federal agencies may utilize these approaches in cost recovery practices.
