NASACT Webinar: GASB 96: The Clock is Ticking – Key Implementation Issues

OVERVIEW

NASACT is pleased to announce the latest in its series of training events addressing timely issues in government accounting, auditing, and financial management.

This webinar will provide a high-level overview of the standard from GASB as well as a review of the frequently asked implementation questions GASB is receiving. Speakers from CLA and state governments will discuss common challenges and considerations for the implementation of the standard. In addition, presenters will explain practical guidance related to the implementation of the standard, discuss lessons learned from GASB 87 that are applicable to GASB 96, and express concerns from the auditor’s perspective.
