Updated SAAM Section(s)
5095

Travel:

Maximum Mileage, Lodging, Meal, Parking and Incidental Expense Reimbursement Rates
Updates to the State Travel Rates for personal vehicle mileage, lodging, and meal and incidental rates (effective only on or after the effective date of the policy), updates to single day and extended day meal reimbursement limits without an overnight stay, updates to airport parking information, and updates to how to find the out-of-country, Alaska, and Hawaii rates.

Remember that the changes are effective on the effective date of the policy. Any travel occurring prior to the effective date would fall under the policy effective during the time of travel.  Prior versions of SAAM can be found under the SAAM Archive tab.

The travel claim forms GAO-503EZ and GAO-503AEZ have also been updated to reflect the new state personal vehicle mileage rate.  If a prior version of the travel claim form with the previous rate is needed, please email [email protected].  Any previously approved agency-specific travel claim forms will need to be updated to reflect the correct rate based on the effective rate for the date of travel.  All agency-specific forms must be submitted and approved by GAO.  Any questions about this approval should be submitted to [email protected].

Comments, corrections, complaints and compliments should be emailed to [email protected].  Include the number of the SAAM section and relevant paragraph(s) (SAAM NNNN-nn.nn.nn) in the subject line.
