Update on Technical Issue Processing FY16 Invoices in ProcureAZ

The current technical issue that prevents Invoices on FY16 Purchase Orders from processing in ProcureAZ is still being worked on. The fix is anticipated to be in place in a few days, but we do not have an exact date at this time.  We will provide an update as soon as we have more information.

The current workaround is to make the EFFECT DATE of the invoice a date in 2016 in ProcureAZ, e.g., 12/31/2016 as shown in the example below.  The EFFECT DATE can also be the same date as the Invoice Date, but it must be in 2016. This field does not interface to AFIS, and the Invoice Date and Payment Date are not impacted by this workaround.

If this workaround does not work for your agency, and your agency has payments that must be made immediately, please process the payment directly out of AFIS using a GAE/GAX document.  GAO can help to manually liquidate Purchase Orders from ProcureAZ in AFIS to free up budgets/appropriations due as needed.  Please contact your AFIS liaison if you have any questions.

Thank you for your patience and understanding.
