Effective 1/9/2023 the mileage reimbursement rate for the use of a personally owned vehicle (POV) increased to sixty-two and one-half cents ($0.625) per mile.  As a result, the forms GAO-503EZ and GAO-503AEZ needed to be updated to reflect the new rate.  The forms have been updated and posted.    Please note that this rate only applies to miles driven on or after 1/9/2023.  Miles driven prior must be reimbursed at the prior rate of $0.445 per mile.  If the rate is incorrect depending on which version of the form was used and when the miles were driven, a manual adjustment may be need to reflect the correct rate and to reimburse the proper amount.  Travelers, reviewers, and processors should review and verify all mileage amounts.
