The General Accounting Office (GAO) has posted a Quick Reference Guide (QRG) to assist with the completion of the Federal Closing Package to the GAO website.  The document is located in the ‘FEDERAL/COST ACCOUNTING’ section of the site and is titled ‘Federal Closing Package Quick Reference Guide’.  The QRG is designed to assist with completing the closing package form[s], ensuring that federal expenditures are compiled and reported accurately in the Schedule of Expenditures of Federal Awards (SEFA), a component of the yearly Single Audit Report.
